I’m Carole Ann – life coach, journalist and author. I became a life coach in 2002 and I use a combination of wit and coaching wisdom to transform my client’s lives from floor to soar. I have coached supermodels, rock stars, writers and athletes along with CEO’s, mums at home, students and business start ups. I simply adore what I do. I would say in all my years of coaching there is not a problem or issue I have not heard or experienced and can provide a coaching solution for. I have lived my 10,000 hours of experience and consider myself an expert in this field. My background is in journalism and I have written for most of nationals from the Independent on Sunday to The Sun, Red and OK! Magazines and I am the only life coach in the UK to have her own column – Happy Monday in the Daily Express – featured in a national daily newspaper.
I am an Associate Fellow Coach at the IAPCM and in 2017 won The Best Coach in the Best Business Women’s Awards and was a judge in the Best Women’s Awards 2022.
My corporate clients have included Visa, London School of Economics, McCann Erickson, Universities UK and the National Children’s Bureau and as a coach has been featured in The Times, Metro News, Harpers Bazaar, Zest, New Woman and Glamour magazines. I am proud to be co-author of the bestseller Find Your Dream Job and our new book Start Your Dream Business came out in April 2013 – both of which I wrote with my brilliant client Sarah Wade. I did a three year life coaching course with the internationally renowned CoachU and am a member of the International Coaching Federation. Becoming a coach was, without doubt, singularly the best career move I have ever made. Helping to motivate and inspire people to find their passion and purpose in life is beyond satisfying. It’s a privilege. Whether writing a book, finding a partner, creating a business or simply moving a client on from lackluster feelings to impassioned engagement – helping a client achieve their goals has meant that I no longer see work as a hardship but pure pleasure.
As a coach I have overcome obstacles and grown my own potential on a daily basis. As coaches we have to walk our talk and develop as we coach. Not many professions offer such infinite possibilities. How cool is that? I offer my personal guarantee to you that you will find a career as a life coach enlightening and world changing and the doors of opportunity that can open for you are limitless.
It all begins with you.
Julie Brown is a visibility and media coach, working with clients individually, in groups and through her membership and courses.

Julie is a graduate of Pure Coaching herself, so she has a unique insight into how new coaches feel as they embark on and move through the training process, and how best to support and inspire them.
Julie is a Pure Coaching Academy success story.
I’m a British Career and Business Coach living in Milan, mostly working with clients individually.
I remember the first time I coached: 19 years ago in the car park of a well-known insurance company, where a colleague was suddenly hit by a desire to call in sick because she hated her job so much. I didn’t know I was coaching of course. I had followed my family into a career in finance and after that experience I continued to coach whenever I could around my finance job, because it always gave me so much energy.
I moved to Italy in 2012, graduated from Pure Coaching Academy in 2013 and became one of their Trainers in 2023 and oh my goodness I love it. Seeing the participants of the course not only grow into very capable Coaches (who have also learned the business side of coaching), but at the same time go through a real eye-opening transformation themselves, makes our job a pleasure.
As a Coach I have clients from Bocconi University students to established business owners who are stuck with moving their businesses forward after being open for a decade. Best part of the job? You can genuinely change someone’s life. The thanks you get as a Coach are great, but being on that journey with someone is beyond fulfilling.
